Yes. The purchase-price difference is only the obvious part. Wheels, tyres, lights, glass, technology and insurance can all change with trim.
More equipment can mean more expensive parts
A top trim may replace modest wheels with large alloys, simple lamps with complex LED units and ordinary glass with extra sensors. Those are useful or desirable features, but they are not free to repair.
Some upgrades are worth it
Better seats, lighting or safety systems can noticeably improve the car. The aim is not to buy the lowest equipment level; it is to pay for features you value while understanding the cost over time.
get quotes for both versions
If two trims both appeal to you, run insurance quotations for both exact cars. The answer tells you more than guessing from list price.
If two trims both appeal, get separate quotes and compare the cost over time of the extra equipment, not just the showroom price.
